Hello m'loves! As you may or may not have noticed, I've been posting less and less frequently over the past few weeks. This is unfortunately down to it being the most busiest/important part of the year! Yep, exams. I'm sitting my final A-level exams in May/June, which means it's time to get serious. So I need to be at the top of my game to get into Uni! Anyway, I had the afternoon off today so I've fitted in an 'Outfit of the Day' post for you all, hope you enjoy!

First off, you can see my OOTD below, featuring me with a very awkward pose and my laptop looking like it's going to kill itself! I'm loving the Japanese kimono style sheer shirt from New Look (very much on trend with the East meets West fusion that I mentioned on a previous post here) with a vest underneath, as all shirts nowadays seem to be see-through! I can't complain though, it looks far too pretty for me to have left it.

Shirt: Cameo Rose New Look // £6 in the Sale
Jeans: New Look // £15 on offer
Socks: Ted Baker // £10
Ring: Pandora //£40

As you can tell, I'm having a bit of a 'New Look' day.  No, not a new look, as in New Look, the store! ( Just for clarification!) They actually have some really great pieces at the moment! They've definitely re-vamped their clothing, and I'm personally loving it.

I didn't wear too much Makeup today, as I was in sixth form just for 2 hours this morning. Don't really need to make yourself look extra glamorous for that! Here are the products that I used:

Foundation: True Match L'oreal // £10.99
Brows: MUA Browkit // £3.50
Mascara: NYC big & bold // £2.99
Lips: MUA Shade 9 // £1.00

Please excuse my nails, they need painting yet again! Last but not least, is the jewellery part. Seeing as this is kind of an everyday thing, or i'm rushing around to get ready, I usually just wear my birthstone Ameyhtst Pandora ring. I'ts so lovely! My auntie got me it for my 18th birthday back in February. Fab!

Hope you enjoyed my little 'Outfit of the Day'!
What's your favourite everyday look/piece?

Hello m'dear Trustinvoguers and newbies! I was thinking the other day that I haven't done a wishlist post in what seems like FOREVER. So, I decided to do one! - with both beauty products and fashion alike. Although my bank account is completely drained after my London Haul and Driving lessons, I can still dream! The first to cover, are my fashion cravings:

All the prices range from £36.00 to £12.00, which isn't TOO bad, but Topshop - please lower your prices!!

Moving on, to the Beauty side of things. These products are a bit of a mixture of both high-end/high-street brands, it's always good to have the best of both worlds!

Meet Matt Dixon & Focus Photography..

Hello fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies alike! I thought i'd do something a little different today, and that is to introduce you to my good friend, Matt Dixon - who is a photographer. Yup, and a really good one too - without being too biased! Focus Photography is the name of his little establishment and he also actually has a blog - which I'd LOVE if you could all go check it out! and his website at

Doesn't this look like a professional photographer took this? Well no, Matt and his camera did! Pretty impressive, huh? These were actually taken at Lapland, to capture the Northern Lights. Personally, I think the images are absolutely beautiful and crystal clear. What more can you want?!

This is also an image he actually took of myself last year, and yeah; he does fashion photography too as well as landscapes guys! Nothing better than a multi-tasker photographer:) He's available for shoots and you can also buy images from him if you contact him.

This isn't in any way a form of advertising, I just think my friend thoroughly deserves some recognition for his work and followers on his blog!

Thank you!

Pros + Cons Of Ordering A Dress Online

Hello fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! As you can guess by the title, I wasn't entirely happy with a purchase I made a couple of weeks ago, online. What I bought, was the 'Fiona/Off The Shoulder' body-con dress in Cobalt Blue from I bought it as a 'night-out dress' for a friend's birthday, also seeing as i'm a student and a bit short of money, I turned to (You can see it on their webpage here).

The details of the item for it said "Work off the shoulder shapes to embrace the ‘90s look.
Off the shoulder styling is back in a big way, and this jersey dress is a cool way to work the trend. It has a wide, off the shoulder neckline and is constructed in a stretch jersey fabric. This dress is a mini length and form fitting style, with no zips or fastenings."
Yes, the dress itself was a lovely colour and that don't get me wrong, however there are plenty of cons to it as well. The fabric itself felt cheap and poor quality; I know, I shouldn't complain seeing as it cost just £12, however due to's reputation, I expected a lot better standards.

As you can see, the dress itself didn't fit nicely or suit my 'hourglass' shape very well.

What i'm going to mention is a couple of pros and cons (just to be fair/neutral!) of this dress, and buying online!
Pros of the Dress:
  • Lovely unusual colour in Cobalt blue - really makes you stand out.
  • Fantastic price compared to high-street stores, just £12!
  • Love the off-the-shoulder detailing effect
  • Fast delivery, arrived well on time (Ordered it on Friday, arrived on Tuesday)
Cons of the Dress:
  • Poor quality
  • Cheap Fabric
  • Didn't fit nicely in the right places AT ALL
  • Kept riding up all night!
Pros of Buying Online:
  • Quick and Easy
  • Reasonably Safe
  • Promotional Codes online to get it cheaper
  • Getting all excited for your parcel to come in the post!
Cons of Buying Online:
  • You don't actually get to see the dress in person and inspect the quality
  • You don't get to try the garment on beforehand (in this case, my dress)
  • Delivery Charges
  • Not always Safe

I'm SO embarrassed to even put the drunken bar photo on from Yates in York, but I thought I would show you guys what it ACTUALLY looks like in comparison to stick-thin models parading it on the website - (no offense This dress on a normal size 10 girl? It made me look like - pretty much a blue whale haha!

All in all? A bit of a let-down from - hopefully this will be the last! As I do love them alongside missguided, and many others.

What do you think to this fashion disaster? haha! Let me know!

Sundays for me, and most other people are about chilling out or catching up on homework (oops) - yet today, I thought i'd do a quick post as to update you all with my instagram! I personally love Instagram, as you can see loads of different images from all over the world, either through the most popular section or just by hashtagging a certain word like... #cheese. haha! I think i'm slightly addicted to browsing, yeah. Here are my own images lately from Instagram, enjoy!

Fiesta Latina in York - I definitely recommend it!
Who doesn't love a bit of Barry M? Especially in this Colour.
(Please excuse my non-existent nails!)
I'm literally addicted to pretty/cute Iphone cases. I NEED MORE!
Possibly one of the greatest tasting chocolate out there.
Casually taking a picture of a Supercar worth £1 MILLION!
Say whaaaat?!
My Lindt Easter egg. Nom.
And last but not least, here's me. Cleansing my face with biore strips. Larrrrvely.
You can purchase the Biore Strips from Superdrug or Boots for around £7.99 (click here). Or, you can get their own brand of strips for just a fraction of the price.

Have any of you guys been up to much this week/month?

Upcoming Summer Trends '13

East West Fusion

Hello lovelies! The UK saw it's first day of proper warm-feeling sunshine today, which only means one thing - Summer is slowly (very, slowly) coming! So, I thought I'd check out the Summer trends with what's hot and what's not for next season. We've all seen and tried the Monochrome and Varsity stuff, but what I've noticed, is that it's all about oriental florals and prints - in other words, East meets West. We've seen it introduced well in advance at fashion weeks from February, including the big-name designers and brands, such as Jean Paul Gaultier, Mulberry and Prada.

Jean Paul Gaultier

However, for my own personal preference i'm quite enjoying New Look's spring/summer collection, which is quite surprising really. I've recently indulged myself in buying Kelly Brook (for New Look) Collection of swimwear, which was, of course, a gorgeous floral number. Yes, a little pricey for £16.99 for the bra half, and £7.99 for the undies, yet it's totally worth it - especially because it's so limited!

As you can see from the image above, are also getting into the florals vibe, with tunic-style dresses and printed trousers. What's great about Boohoo, is that they offer a great range of clothing at an affordable price - so you can't go wrong! Not only that, we're seeing the flower-headband craze being replayed this year, with floral crowns becoming a Summer must - not just for the Festivals.

In terms of floral crowns, you check out some BEAUTIFUL ones over at - honestly, they're amazing.

What do you think to the Summer trends? Are florals and prints for you?

Look Good, For Less at

Cheapest Clothing Store

Hello m'dear Trustinvoguers and newbies! now, we all love a good bargain or two, be it in the latest high-street sales or pre-loved eBay items. However, nowadays it's so much easier to order something off the internet at a discounted price. Today i'm going to introduce to you a company I've recently stumbled across, which is the fabulous Clothingloves.netThey offer wholesale clothing, which of course, we all know what that means! if you buy items that are called "wholesale" these are items that are being directly sold from the manufacturer, so the costs are lower and closer to what it cost them to make the product. So basically, a win-win for both the customer and manufacturer! is also a leading supplier of Wedding Dresses, Special Occasion Dresses (Yep, think Prom Season girlies!), Women’s Clothing, Men's Clothing,Lingerie etc. I'm also absolutely loving their Womens Skirts & Blouses section, especially this pinstriped shirt which is bang on trend with the monochrome craze.

London Haul!

Hello lovelies! First of all, excuse my delay in posting less frequently than usual, I've had a rather busy week down south, travelling about the likes of London and Cambridge! This post will talk a little bit about that, and the well, mainly drugstore haul I collected! As Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on, I couldn't really say no - so I went a little wild with buying stuff! I always usually concentrate on buying clothing, however I thought I should delve into the beauty side of things a little more.

  1. True Match L'oreal Foundation in 'Rose Ivory' £10.29
  2. Lumi Magique Primer £9.99
  3. MUA Lipstick in Shade 11 £1.00
  4. Lumi Magique Highlighter Pen £8.49
5. Superdrug Foundation Brush £3.99

I LOVE this highlighter, many bloggers have been raving about this and I will just add to that list! For a highstreet cosmetics brand, it's pretty good compared to higher end stuff. I was very tempted to buy YSL's touche eclat, however went for the cheaper option.

I noticed that Boots had a 3 for 2 offer, which I of course, had to take advantage of! I've always wanted to get a primer too, and I find this leaves my skin looking glowing, even after applying foundation. At first, I was a little worried that the substance looked rather sparkly, however once it's blended in it just looks kinda shiny, and makes your skin look dewy and healthy-looking. Thumbs up L'oreal.

I then bought my mum some 'English Breakfast' teabags from Harrods - they were literally like the cheapest thing in Harrods! hahaha! They cost £4.50.

                                                           Buckingham Palace!

I then, obviously, had to turn to the huge Primark at Oxford Street...
I actually didn't see much, as it was bustling with FAR too many people! It was insane! However I managed to pick up a gold-toned triange shape necklace, which are very on trend at the moment. I could see myself teaming it with a nice shirt or with a dress for a night out. At just £3.00, you can't go wrong.

Of course, I had to check out Victoria's Secret whilst in London! I didn't expect it to be SO expensive though! It was something crazy like £50 for a bra. I wish. The store looked fab though. Bit slightly awkward that i'm just walking about in there with a Primark bag haha! Oh well.

I wasn't massively impressed with Forever 21 though, don't get me wrong, it's a nice store and sells nice clothes and everything, however I just found it to be just the american version of H&M. Alright clothes for mediocre price - but costing the quality.

Last of all, I know I sound like a sour puss, but I was SO disappointed with the hugeee, flagship Topshop in London. Yeah, awesome clothes, extortionate prices as always. However, the staff were SOSO rude!! I was searching for a shirt, so as you do I went up to a Sales Assistant and asked her if she could help me find it. However, I wasn't expecting her to snap back at me and say "I'M SERVING ANOTHER CUSTOMER!" before scuttling off leaving me astounded! I was literally so shocked at the customer service. And then not long after, me and my boyfriend were on the escalators  and it was very nearly at the top and yet ANOTHER sales assistant shrieked saying 'Move, please!' you don't say that to customers! I know myself with being a Sales Assistant for 2 years. Sorry for my rant, but it's just plain rude! Anyway, I hope you enjoyed my post on London!
