Holiday Series: Goodbye June, Hello Malta!

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! If you haven't guessed already by the title, saying goodbye to June and hello to July means one thing. I'm going away on a girls holiday to MALTA! yay!:) (As you can tell, i'm super duper happy about this), it's about time I chilled out after the stress of A level exams! I go on the 3rd July - 6:30 am the flight takes off to be precise - counting it down much?! Anyway, please bare with me for the next week, i'll be sure to take lots of photos for you all to post on my blog, OOTDs, etc! I shall return after the 10th July, just thought i'd keep you all up to date!

Here's an informative map for you all to locate it ;)

Back down to business! Last night was my Sixth Form leavers. Although me and my friends didn't go to the 'do' as it was expensive, we couldn't say no to town (Leeds)! I've made the mistake of wearing heels or wedges all the time going into town, and I ALWAYS instantly regret it. Like, I don't know why, for an 18 year old, I still cannot walk in heels for the life of me! So last night I opted for nude flats (that's why I look a little bit short!!). Anyway guys, although this is a rather short-ish post, I'm MEGA tired and feel like i've been slapped in the face by a.. something. That sounds reeealllly weird doesn't it?! haha!! Hope you enjoy the images, like I said once I'm back from Malta I shall be posting much more frequently!

I got us Free Bubbly! Can't say no to that! ;)

The Girlies!

and how the night ended..

As you can tell, it was a pretty weird/crazy/funny/eventfuuul night!

Lots of love & kisses,
Hannah xoxo

The Perfect Everyday Lipstick - Mac Creme Cup

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! As you can probably tell from the title, this post is going to be on my favourite everyday lipstick at the moment. I've been literally searching everywhere for the perfect pinky/nude colour, just to wear on a daily basis without looking too much/overwhelming with subtle makeup. I found the perfect one, with Mac's permanent collection line - a little gem called Cremesheen 'Creme Cup' (A13). Now i'm sure i'm probably quite behind on this and plenty of bloggers have already raved about this Mac product before, but I guess I've never really realized just how great it actually is.

I absolutely LOVE lipsticks that have a semi-matte finish, but are also glossy if that makes any sense? I like my lipsticks to keep my lips moisturized, as I find with solely matte lipsticks they can make the lips rather dry. With the Creme Cup lipstick, it offers the best of both worlds. It also has a shine to it, and it doesn't appear overly 'sparkly' and tacky that you may find with other shiny lipsticks. I literally have nothing bad to say about this Mac lipstick, it's a definite thumbs up from me!
As you can see, the colour is really beautiful and such an everyday lipstick! I'm really quite impressed with this Mac lipstick. It was either going to be this, or 'Angel'. I may purchase that next time! Or Russian Red/Ruby Woo.. let me know what you guys think!

Here's a swatch below of what the colour actually looks like on the skin. SO pretty! As you can see it's super pigmented, even more so when it's on the lips! I'm loving the high shine effect it has without looking too much and lipglossy. It's so easy just to swipe on for work, college, school, uni - whatever!

You can buy this from Mac counters or online for £14.

What do you think to this lipstick?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love, Hannah xoxo

Revlon Photoready Cream Blush Review

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies alike! So, I've recently been treated to this little beauty, that is, the Revlon Photoready Cream Blush, in 'Pinched'. Woah, that was a mouthful! Why do makeup brands have such long names for their products?! Anyway, I loved Revlon's just bitten kissable balm stains, and their lip butters are apparently to die for. But I wanted to try something new. I needed a good blush, and the other day me and my mum were in Boots, she was buying a mascara (I reccomended the falsies by maybelline!), and there's an offer on at the minute where you buy one item, you can get another for half the price. So, my lovely mum treated me to the cream blush (£7.99).

Now, many people are really divided in the blogosphere over cream blushes vs the powdery ones. I'm a fan of both to be honest, as both do the job. I really like the consistency of the cream blush, it's super easy to put on and blend when you're on the go. However, I was disappointed to find that it only actually stays on for about 2-3 hours before it wears off. I did expect it to last me at least half the day, but sadly not. Maybe that's the downside to Cream Blushes? I was going to get the Bourjois Cream blush, but the Revlon Photoready one has much more in the tub, and they were the same price.

Here are some images of my weird lookin' facial expresions so you can see what it looks like on!

^ That was a rather pout tastic one wasn't it?! haha! But yeah,
If anyone can recommend a really good natural blush that stays on for a while, please let me know!:)
All in all, i'd give the Revlon Photoready Cream Blush an honest 7/10. It does the job, looks beautiful on for a couple of hours, but it sadly wears easily off which is a huge disappointment for me. Please fix this Revlon!! You can purchase this in Boots/Superdrug stores for £7.99 here.

As always, let me know what you guys think!
Do you have this product?
Lots of love, Hannah xoxo

If you want to see the text and images alone, you can check out my Primark Haul June 2013 post here.

Primark Haul! June 2013

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! As promised from my previous OOTD day & night post, i've got a Primark haul for you all! Lately i've been absolutely loving Primark, it's become so much more on trend with it's clothing and accessories alike - not to mention keeping it's bargain prices! A lot of people have also been saying that the quality of the products have improved vastly, in terms of how the fabric now feels on certain items, etc. Which can only mean good things! Hopefully due to the improvement of their products, that it doesn't bring higher prices. However, Primark have also launched themselves onto ASOS - a massive move for them due to them always pushing away the 'online competiton'. Perhaps they've realized they may benefit from online shoppers? But i've noticed that they do charge a pound or two extra on the website, in comparison to Primark stores - so keep that in mind! We can all say though, British highstreet shopping wouldn't be the same without good old Primark.

Without me jibbin' on too much, I'll get started with my haul! First off, I'll start with the smaller items - hair accessories! I'm a big fan of making my hair look good with the odd accessory, such as delicate floral headbands, cute ribbon clips or the odd donut for a simple ballerina bun. Without paying Topshop's extortoniate prices, Primark offer pretty good things.

Floral Crown/headband: £3.00 (I think!)
Donut: £1.00
Ribbon Hair Clip: £3.00

Next up, are the famous Primark rings. A pack of four or five rings for £3.00? Yes please! I bought this pack (one's missing - oops!) which consists of aztec triangels and detailed imprints.

I then saw this necklace and fell instantly in love with it. For another bargain price of just £3.00, I just couldn't say no. I love the blue design and metal silver tassles coming off it, brilliant casual statement necklace. Beforehand, I spotted this beautiful bag in Primark. Now, i'm a bit iffy about buying Primark bags, because in the past i've had them break on me within 2 minutes! But this one surpsied me. I'ts HUGE inside and can hold lots of items without feeling too heavy. It hasn't caused any problems for me at all since i've had it, all in all? it's a strong, fashionable bag! I personally love the little gold plated detailing near the handles - perfect touch. This cost me just £12.00.

As you may or may not have seen from my last OOTD day & night post (you can see it here) - I also purchased this pretty coral dress for just £12.00. I'm a sucker for floaty dresses which are easily to slip on and style it with pretty much anything. With this dress, you can go bare leg, tights, heels, flats, leather jacket, denim jacket you name it! It goes with pretty much anything. I also love the fact that it has a detailed flower crotched bit along the waistline, which actually enhances your figure in my opinion! The other Bikini item cost just £4.00. Yep, you saw that right! A full bikini set for just £4.00! That's absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I also looooove the floral colourful/weird/pattern it's got going on! Primark also have other £4.00 bikini's stocked such as aztec ones and leopard ones! I'd be quick though, because I bet these are going to go like wildfire.

Next up is one of my most FAVOURITE items possibly ever bought from Primark. Wow, pretty special? I'm so in love with these floral shorts, it may be borderline weird. Although they're a little on the short side, they cover the bum cheeks so it's all good! I feel so lucky to have snapped this up, because they go so quickly! Well, for just £4.00 why wouldn't they? Such a cheap buy and great for lounging about the house, sunning it in the garden or taking them on holiday!

Last but not least, is my favourite item of the month! My boyfriend's mum spotted this adorable pillow in the homeware section of Primark, and bought it for me! How cute is that doggy though!? and it's kinda funny too! A dog with glasses? y'don't see that everyday. A fun, weird pillow case is a great additon to my bedroom, if any room! I'll definietly be taking this to Uni in September.

You can buy small pillows like these from the Primark home section for just £4.00 in lots of different shapes and styles. I hope you enjoyed my Primark haul!

Day & Night OOTD // FINISHED EXAMS!

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! I'm so sorry that I haven't been able to post lately because of my final A level exams, but now - I'm FREEEEEEE! :D I can't tell you how good it feels to have no exam stress on ya chest, to be revising constantly and not enjoying the odd sunshine that England has to offer during the Summer months. But yeah, without going off on one, i'm done! I've got from now till September to post much more, and in August I will try to post everyday of the month. So watch out for that!

So, just to get back into blogging after a break (well, not really a 'break' but y'know), I've got an Outfit of the Day for you all! The other day me and my boyfriend went shopping around Leeds, as well as going for a meal after. So I tried to incorporate both a casual aspect about it, but also quite fancy - like I've made an effort because of the meal part.

 Dress: Primark - £12
Necklace: Primark - £3.00
Leather Jacket: Zara - £40
Tights: Newlook - £2.99?
Bag: Primark - £12
Black Chelsea Boots: Missguided.co.uk - £35.99

 Hair Ribbon: Primark - £3.00

I LOVE ribbon hair clips lately, especially the larger ones! So, when I saw this beauty in Primark or just £3.00 I had to pick it up! I love how you can wear it for an occasion, or just for a casual day out. If anyone knows where else I can pick up the larger sized ribbon clips let me know! So far I've ransacked everywhere from Topshop to Newlook and i've only found tiny ones:(  and unfortunately Primark only had these black ones. The hunt continues!

Jewellery all from Primark!
( I was a little Primark OTT that day!)

Necklace: £3.00
Ring: (was in a pack of like 4 or 5) £3.00
Nails: (please ignore how short they are haha!) Revlon Coral - £7.99

My entire outfit (except for the leather jacket from Zara and Missguided Chelsea Boots), were all recent purchases from Primark, So i'll be sure to do a more detailed haul soon of them and others that I bought from there! How fab is that bag though!? I can't get enough of it! It's also great news that Primark have recently launched themselves onto ASOS - F.I.N.A.L.L.Y! Hopefully I'll be able to grab some more Primark bargains online without having to trudge into town.

Oh, and my dog Luna wanted to say hello to you all too.

What do you think to my OOTD?
Let me know!
Love, Hannah & Luna xoxo

OOTD - Night Out Dress

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers! As my final exam is fast approaching, this will most likely be the last day that I can do a post before Thursday, so please bare with me! Last night I went out to Leeds for my friend's 18th birthday, and this is what I chose to wear.

This beautiful coral/orange tone, floaty dress was bought last year in Topshop. It wasn't a Topshop brand, I think it was the 'Love' label brand, which is brilliant! I also purchased it in the sale last year, so I think it was around £15. Sorry if i'm not being entirely helpful on this!

I then 'borrowed' my mum's GORGEOUS Reiss wedge shoes for the night. They're so different due to the hole with the gold lining in the centre of the wedge, which looks really pretty. I thought that the nudey/brown colour of the shoes also went well with the dress, rather than using harsh black shoes or the same colour - as to mix it up a little.

MAKEUP:

Eyes: Naked 2 - Half-Baked & Snakebite
Foundation: Giorgio Armani Silk Foundation
Concealer: Collection 2000
Eyelashes - Sex and the City - Carrie
Eyebrows: MUA Browkit
Lips - Mac

I had a great night!
What do you think to my outfit/makeup?:)
Let me know!
