The Best Daily Moisturiser in the World..

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! Apologies for not posting these past couple of days, if you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you'll know that I recently passed my driving test! YAY! Annnd i've been ultra-busy working, buying people presents (as ALL my familys birthdays are in August/July. Sigh.) and I also went to Malta on a girls holiday! So, yeah. Pretty busy month July! Anyway, on to the post..
Ok, maybe the title of this blog post is a tiny bit excessive, but to me it honestly is the best out there at an affordable price. What i'm talking about, is the British Brand, Elemis freshskin 'softly softly' Daily Moisturiser. Woah, bit of a mouthful! The product states quite clearly that this particular one is for teens to 20s, however they also have one for above that age criteria.

I also really like the packaging surprisingly, it's not tacky looking or cheap at all. To me, it's simplistic, but not overly simple. It delivers the message of what the product is, without looking too much. The purple/white format works well together, and I think they also did the same with the colour blue. What's more, Elemis clearly state on the packaging that it's dermatologically tested, and that Elemis do not test on animals.

The consistency/texture of the moistuiser? Utter perfection. Literally! It doesn't feel too runny or too thick, it just has that perfect blend to create something easy to apply to the skin without looking overly greasy. It's just so easy to put on without a fuss, it soaks into your skin almost immediately and leaves it glowing. I can definitely say that I can see a difference in my skin with this moisturiser. It doesn't feel no where near as dry as it used to, not only that, I find that on a morning, my skin has a dull/greyish tone to it. When I apply the Elemis moisturiser, not only does the texture feel luxurious, it compliments my skin tone and almost leaves my face glowing. It also contains the key ingredients of seaweed extract, Rosehip seed oil and sweet almond oil, which deliver soothing and softening qualities ensuring the skin receives an instant hydrating boost.

In the image below you can see what it looks like for yourself upon the skin.

On the packaging, it states "Gives instant hydrating boost, leaving skin revitalised and more radiant." I would certainly agree with that statement, because it honestly does do the trick! On the 'Beauty Tips' section of the actual box, it also explains how it works. "Moistuisers work by sealing water into the skin and keeping it hydrated and supple. Even a younger skin needs a good moisturiser. Make sure you protect your skin during the day with an SPF if exposed to direct sunshine. Signs of tiredness and life's excesses are reflected in the face, dulling the complexion and causing dark circles. Combat this by drinking plenty of water and ensure you regularly have a good night's sleep." Well, said Elemis.

My overall rating? 8.5/10 - purely because to achieve a 9 or 10 the product has to be literally amazing.
The Elemis Daily Moisturiser is by far my favourite and I would totally recommend it to everyone. I bought it in the Harvey Nicks section in Leeds, for £20.00 about 6/7 months ago, and I still love it. However, you can also buy it from Superdrug or Boots for around that price or cheaper if they have any current offers on.

What do you think to the Elemis freshskin 'softly softly' Daily Moisturiser?
Have you tried any other Elemis product?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love, Hannah xoxo
