The Ultimate Blackhead Killer?

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! I hope you're all well. I know I'm not! I'm still stuck with the dreaded freshers flu that you imminently catch, however, I'm starting to feel better so it's all good! But, I've found that 2 weeks into Uni life, has really made my skin suffer. Most likely due to the cheap junk food and all-nighters. The result? blackheads, dull looking skin and spots. Not a good look. Luckily, the lovely people over at StyleLux, sent me this brilliant '5-Pack Blackhead Killer'. I can honestly say now, it has done the trick. You can check it out here.

So, it basically comes in 5x 10ml packets, so you can get some good use out of the product. Although, it DOES look kind of scary with it being black coloured and all, I guess it relates to being a 'blackhead' killer. See what I did there? ;) Oh, and I used my flower headband, as I didn't have anything to pull my hair back haha! Flowers, black face mask and a leopard-print onesie? errrm... Let's move on!

1. Apply the Face mask
2. Leave on for 10 minutes.
3. Peel off!
4. Wash the rest off with warm water.
5. Apply any moisturizer (I used Simple)

Although it absolutely KILLED taking it off (well, for me anyway, i'm suck a wimp at peeling things off my skin!) it's well worth it. My skin, literally feels as soft as a baby's bum. If softer. My main problem with blackheads, is on my nose. And they're not just any blackheads. They stick in there, and are really tough to get out. So this product really surprised me that it managed to get the majority out, especially in other areas of my face. You're skin does look a little red and irritated afterwards, as you can tell with the picture below, as I immediately took the image after taking the mask off. So that's completely normal and to be expected, once you've thoroughly washed your face and applied moisturizer, that tends to fade.

All in all? I'd give this product 7/10.
Purely because it didn't COMPLETELY eliminate my blackheads, but it still did a pretty good job with getting rid of some, and leaving my skin silky smooth.

What do you think to this product? Would you try it?
Do I look scary with it on? haha!
As always, let me know!
Lots of love, Hannah xoxo

  1. I've tried the Biorè strips before and they didn't really work. This is next on my list.

  2. I need to try this! I've also tried Bioré strips and they did nothing as well. The mask sounds promising!
