Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! In what seems like forever, I have decided to do a blogger favourite, 'What's in my makeup bag' post. Also, these products are pretty much what I tend to use everyday, so it's sort of my 'everyday makeup' rolled into one as well! Ok, so first off, some look a little tatty-looking, but they're just well-loved, and have been used, as I say, every single day! That Includes base/face, eyes, and brows - I haven't included 'lips' because I'm saving a different kind of post for that. My makeup bag is actually from Home Bargains! A complete snatch at just £4.00. I love anything floral, so this cute pink makeup bag was just perfect for me - especially for the price!
So first off, the face! I moisturize my face before adding either some primer or the foundation. At the moment I'm using Rimmel's 'Wake Me Up' Foundation in Ivory (£8.99) I got it for just £4.00 in Wilkinsons. Now some say that this foundation is a little too dark and orangey for pale skin, and whilst I do agree, it also makes my face look ultra healthy which I kinda like. I put this on using my beloved Real Techniques 'Buffing Brush', before adding Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer (£4.19) under my eyes and in any red, irritated areas on my face. Last but not least, I put on my new favourite product - Benefit's 'Watts Up' Highlighter (£24.50) which is a beautiful Champagne Colour. You can read the full review on that here. I sometimes use a slight hint of Revlon's Photoready Cream Blush in 'Pinched' (£7.99).
Last but not least is the eyes, which is an ESSENTIAL for me! For my everyday look, these are without a doubt my most used products. First of all, I curl my lashes using this cheap pink one from H&M - classy I know - (£3.99). However, the Shumera eyelash curlers is high on my wishlist! I also go in with the NYC Colour White Eyeliner pencil - I'm not too fussed what brand I go for, for this, as most do the trick pretty well. I love white eyeliner, as it really makes your eyes pop, and it's perfect to add to an everyday makeup look. This pencil costs just £2.99. I then use my favourite high-street mascara of all time - Maybelline the Falsies. This is without a doubt the best on the market, it creates huuuge eyelashes, and I like my lashes big! (£7.99)
and here is the finished look!
Top is from River Island in the Sale £12
What do you guys think to the products I have in my Makeup bag?
Do you like this look?
As always, let me know!
Lot's of love, Hannah xoxo
