Outfit of the Day, at the Top of the Empire State

Ever tried doing an 'outfit of the day' at the top of the empire state? gale force winds and all? I have. It was a mixture of amazing views and wind-swept hair. Because it's New York, it's sort of the norm to look like that. Especially when it was below freezing with crazy snowstorms! Also, please note: It's difficult to look 'fashionable' when you've got probably a gazillion thermal layers on to keep your body temperature reasonable moderate. The whole week mainly consisted of jumpers, thermals and jeans! But of course, jazzed up a little bit with a few accessories here and there.

A Last Minute Birthday Dress | 'Oh My Love'

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! I turned 19 on monday (the most boring age!) and I managed to get a few snaps of what I looked like before the mayhem happened! I wanted to stand out - if it's your birthday why the heck not! - and so I opted for a cobalt blue dress. It was a quick decision, I got back from New York and the next day was my birthday. So that day I HAD to pick something fast! and apart from a few wardrobe malfunctions of it being a little bit too big on the shoulders, it was a perfect party dress. I recieved the odd compliment or two about it, and I'm pleased with how it flowed. I usually go for a body con tight-fitting number for such an occasion, but this was a mixture of class and sexy with the low cut plunge neckline and bright colour.

Let's Hear It For New York

Hello m'fellow trustinvoguers and newbies! I'm back. FINALLY. After what seems like forever. I'm back from New York and have plenty of posts/vlogs to share. I had a fab time trying to get into NYFW, whilst still looking acceptable even through the snowstorms! I met lots of lovely bloggers and young designers in the process. I even got interviewed by Yahoo for 'The Thread'! (soon as the video is up I'll let you all know). So was it worth the 8 year lust to go? YES! I would rant and rave about the City that Never Sleeps all day long, but I wouldn't want to bore you with the minor details. So here is the first New York Series post! Just starting off with a few main pictures from my visit. Enjoy!

Maybelline Colour Show & MUA Eyeshadow | Review

Hello m'fellow Trustinvoguers and newbies! I hope you're all well. Today is a product review of the Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish and MUA Eyeshadow. A bit of a mix and match post! This may also be the last post I will be doing for a week or so, as I'm off to New York on Monday!! Eeeek, exciting stuff! But I might try and fit one in before I go if I have time, as my schedule is so hectic at the moment with University and work commitments this week. Anyway, on to the review! The lovely people over at Mybeautycompare.com sent me these great high-street products to try out and review. I had no idea what I was getting, so it was such a nice surprise to see a mixture of Maybelline and MUA. First off, the Maybelline Color (yes, 'colour' but it's american!) Show in 'Pink Bloom'.
