Hi guys! I have yet another 'outfit of the day' post for you all today, featuring these beautiful, baby-pink fitted cigarette trousers from Zara. It was a love at first sight purchase, especially at just £24.99 I just couldn't say no. It's a very on trend, miami-vice style that I have going on! This is because these particular trousers have a stretchy high-waist line, (which is most likely elasticated and works really well) and it gives off a retro kind of vibe. To me, this entire outfit resembles a clean, modern twist on the '80s, with a dash of pink as the key element. Understated sophisticated chic, without looking OTT....
As it's finally starting to feel a litle bit warmer in the UK, I wanted to start wearing lighter and brighter colours. Pink trousers are not something that I would usually go for, but these particular ones really stood out to me. They elongate my legs, and fit perfectly in such a way, that don't hug those areas that you don't wish to be seen! Texture wise, they're just right without being too thick and rugged, or too thin and paper-like that you would pretty much see the outline of your knickers in. Not a good look. Instead, the material is polyester, which is super comfortable and flexible. Although I couldn't seem to find them on the Zara UK website, I did find similar from River Island here.
My blouse was a very recent purchase, that was actually in the Miss Selfridge sale for just £15, not including student discount. Bargain!
Possibly one of my most favourite necklaces that I own, from Primark! £3.
What do you think to this Pink '80s inspired outfit?
Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
