I attended the #MISSGUIDEDAW14 press event (thanks so much for inviting me!) and what was in store was above and beyond my expectations. The venue was tucked away in a little side street of Soho, and the inside of it was transformed into a beautiful woodland theme. A high contrast to the outside bustling streets of London. Antler's on the walls, logs and fur throws - you name it. Everything was beautifully displayed, and I was already thoroughly impressed. There were rails jam-packed full of gorgeous clothes -think of an array of textures, muted colours and an explosion of floral prints in a wide variety of styles and designs. I also spotted a few co-ordinates here and there, which I'm so happy to see are carrying on through to next season....

Travelling all the way down from Leeds, I wanted to make the most of the trip to London! So me and my friend Chloe, of course, went shopping! We mainly hit Oxford Street, Knights-bridge and Piccadily before heading to the event in Soho. Here's a few typical tourist-y photos....

Trousers: Zara
Top: Topshop
Blazer: H&M
Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs
Bag: Internacionale

Of course, we had to take a stop off at Harrods!

and Piccadily Circus....

On to the event in Soho!

plenty of yummy drinks and food were on hand....

I loved the deadly/dry flowers decor that hung from the ceiling, it made for a beautiful installation of art and fashion. It signifys the end of Summer and the start of autumn/winter, how colours fade in flowers, so do the colours in fashion, they become muted, toned down or neutral.

As you can see, there was plenty of fur gilets, jackets, and floral prints on offer....

It was so hot in London, that all my makeup had just melted off! So luckily the lovely ladies doing hair and makeup re-vitalized my look!

How amazing is this fur jacket?!

I really liked this paisley print co-ord, it's super silky and perfect for the Summer-Autumn transition....

Another beautiful print co-ord with embellishment, it has a very Moroccan vibe to it, don't you think?

Looks like tartan and gingham will be sticking around too, along with the sports luxe style....

Being the girly-girl that I am, I fell in love with this baby-pink boyfriend coat - NEED IT!

I also had my eye on this khaki-coloured play-suit with the v-neckline - perfect for casual nights out or during the day with black tights, leather jacket and boots....

I had so much fun at the Missguided AW '14 event, and I can't wait for the new clothing line to drop! All in all, there's plenty of fur, prints and textures to choose from - no matter what your own personal style is.

What do you think to the upcoming A/W Missguided range?
Have you got your eye on anything?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo
