Bright hot pink with revealing mesh details? Definitely something that I wouldn't normally initially go for. However, my mind completely changed once I put it on, and had styled it up with my trusty black leather jacket from Zara, with the classic converse. The Wal G pretty pink number is not to everyone's taste, but you can style it and make it your own. It's a very rock-meets-girl kind of look, with the mixture of deep pink and dark black going on. But, I kind of like it. It's very different and edgy in comparison to what I would usually wear, and sometimes, it's good to step out the box and out of your comfort zone. For just £35, this dress is worth every penny. Read on to know why.....
One of my favourite things about this particular dress is that it clinches in at the waist, due to to the tie belt detail at the back - which makes for a perfect fit to your body shape. It also has an exposed zip to the reverse and a crew neckline. The fit and flare of it is super flattering, and it's a great day-to-night alternative dress.
You can see my Converse here. Unfortunately, the leather jacket from Zara is old so is no longer available.
The delicate chiffon fabric has mesh panels - otherwise known as 'organza panels' which are see-through. To some, this may be too outrageous and daring, but I actually think they're subtle and futuristic. Everything at the minute is all about cut-outs and panels, but some clothing designs can go over-board. However, this pink number from Wal G just has the perfect amount there without looking too overwhelming.
