This season I find one of the biggest trends to look out for, is grey. It's everywhere at the moment, from the catwalks to the high-street store merchandise. Some people think it looks dull and boring. But I disagree. It's how you style it and twist it up that matters. Whether it's a slightly different shade of grey (I'm not talking the book!) or a printed pattern. It's the little details that count, make a difference and change an outfit's overall aesthetic. With this particular outfit, I added accessories, pattern and slightly different shades all mixed together to create a trendy look that anyone can pull off....
This grey checked skirt from H&M completely makes the outfit. (I must have an obsession with H&M at the minute, it's so on point!) For just £19.99, it's value for money as well as looking stylish and on trend. It's one of those staple items that you're always going to need in your wardrobe.
My favourite mac coat from River Island for £75, sadly this was from last year so is no longer available, however they have brought out a reinvented version here, and I did find similar to this particular one here, here and here.
Possibly my favourite item to wear right now, this long dark grey draped, midi cardigan from River Island, it's super easy to wear with pretty much anything. You can see it here for £25.00.
My necklace is from Next at the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards last year, so no longer available unfortunately!
The bag is from a market stall in Thailand, and the boots with the silver zip are also from H&M for just £24.99. Although I can't seem to find the exact ones on the website, they're definitely in stores. You can see a different version of them here. My tights are simply Primark, why of course!
I really like how each piece of clothing or accessory adds something a little bit different to the look, whether it's the textured tassels on the cross-body bag, the statement necklace or checked patterned skirt. All of that grey comes together quite well.
What do you guys think to this outfit?
Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
