November is always the month when you start to feel the chill, the day's become shorter and the skies darker. It's that time of year when you really need to start wrapping up, wearing your winter coat from last year that's stuffed at the back of your wardrobe and a cosy scarf to keep the cold breeze out. This particular day, I just felt like wearing all black with just a dash of red with the checked scarf from Primark. You can never truly go wrong with black, it is definitely the most flattering colour on any body shape, and it's that time of year when you can wear it over and over again.....
I've got so much wear out of this cosy Primark scarf already, (just £4 may I add!) it's on trend, warm and a cheaper alternative compared to other high-street retailers. What's not to love?!
My leather trench coat is from River Island, and was actually purchased this time last year. However, it's been so popular that they've brought back a reinvented version this year - you can see it here for £85.00, and the exact one that i'm wearing from last year is only available in the brown colour which you can see here, also for £85.00.
My heeled chelsea boots are a recent purchase, from H&M for just £29.99, which you can see here. I absolutely love these, they're the perfect kind of shoes to take you from day-to-night with just the right amount of height without being too uncomfortable.
I also wore just a plain black, long-sleeved swing dress from Boohoo.com, which you can also see here for the purse-friendly price of just £12.00. Dresses like these are great, they're just simple staples that are needed in your wardrobe to throw on and wear through the day. Pair it with some woolly tights and some ankle boots, and you're ready to go!
What do you think to my A/W OOTD?
Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
