CASUAL CHECK & FAUX FUR | OOTD

This is possibly my go-to favourite outfit as of late, I find that my style changes quite a lot, and at the moment I'm enjoying dressing down and looking quite casual with over-sized shirts and darker colours. I picked up this perfectly sized checked shirt from Zara last week, for just £29.99 which was in their basics section - but this shirt looks and feels far from 'basic'. I combined it with the black fur gilet from New Look, to add a bit of texture to the overall look.....

This shirt is definitely my most coveted item in my wardrobe this month, it's just perfect to throw on with pretty much anything, especially when you're in a rush for your 9am Uni lecture! The material is super soft - I'm actually so surprised at the pure quality of it. A dark checked shirt like this is one of the timeless pieces that will never truly 'go out of fashion'.

The black faux fur gilet is also a firm favourite of mine from this past month. Gilets are massively on trend right now, and I just couldn't resist picking up this pretty plain black one from New Look, as a great cheaper alternative at just £39.99 - compared to the sky-high prices other retailers are currently charging. You can see it here.

What do you think to my OOTD?
Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo
