I recently picked up the Yves Saint Laurent Le Teint Touche Éclat foundation in B10 Beige, and I immediately wanted to do a review about it. Now, everyone's heard about the YSL Touche Éclat highlighter (which I still desperately need to try!) yet I haven't heard all that much about it's sister product, the foundation. I've been taking my time trying to find and decide on a really great high-end foundation to invest in, as I was starting to grow a little tired of using high-street ones. Even though my student budget can't always make that stretch to buy luxurious products all of the time, it's sometimes really nice just to indulge yourself in something that makes you feel and look good....
I wanted to get my colour shade just right, so the lovely lady at the makeup counter tried a few of the lighter shades on my face, making sure everything was thoroughly cleansed away beforehand. I wanted something that wasn't too pale/ghostly white or something that looked overly tanned and orange-looking. This colour (Beige 10) was the perfect shade for me, as it has slightly yellow undertones.
....and who doesn't love YSL packaging? Gold, sleek and minimal. Everything a high-end cosmetics product should be.
I love the texture, it's everything it should be in a foundation. It blends like a dream, feels silky smooth and looks glowing. On the skin it's quite dewy, alike to the Rimmel 'Wake Me Up' foundation.
You can see it here for £31.50.
What do you think to the YSL Touche Eclat Foundation?
Have you ever tried it before / would you try it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
