Who said grids were out? As of late, I have once again become obsessed with the geometric monochrome style; reviving it through these slick dungarees from Monki. As it's my last week here up in Newcastle until I leave to go back home for the Summer, I decided to take a stroll around Jesmond Dene with my good friend Holly (she also has a blog, you can check it out here). I styled these smart dungarees with a plain causal tee and loafers, as to not distract too much attention away from the pattern that's already going on.....

I'm not normally into dungarees, as I just simply prefer that smarter look of trouser and tee combo. However, I was pleasantly proved wrong with this number from Monki, to me it could even possibly pass as work-wear when styled correctly. I went down a little more casual route for once, and teamed it with an old white tee with 'New York' emblazoned across it, from River Island. It is unfortunately old season, so is no longer available, however you can see it here.

My black flats are last months (and let's face it, probably this month) ultimate favourites, they're super comfortable, stylish and affordable. What could be better? You're getting the best of both worlds, which is always a bonus. You can check these out from New Look for just £17.99 here.

The black floppy fedora is a staple accessory of mine, and has been featured many times in my fashion-related posts. This particular one is from Topshop for £28, which you can see here.

What do you think to this outfit?
Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo

  5. love this outfit, these dungarees really suit you! x

  6. Very nice dungarees. Not so much of a fan of them either but the black and white pattern is very on trend at the moment and I love how you've styled them with your loafers. They are a great classic choices as well ( I got a similar pair from Dune). Not so sure if the outfit really needs the hat. The messy braid works already perfect as an accessory :) Hope you're well and we'll speak soon.
