Last saturday I discovered possibly my new favourite shopping destination - and no, it isn't as crazy as jetting off to New York's Fashion Ave or strolling through central London's bustling Oxford Street. It's so much better than that. No - really. Portobello road has more than it's colorful terraced houses, it has culture all interweveed onto one beautiful street, selling everything from shiny intricate rings to antique hardback books from way before you and I even existed.....

I find everywhere you look in London there's an opportunity to take a photo, this gorgeous car on the way to the market was no exception....

So many random trinkets and objects!

As this day was just filled with exploring London town, I wanted to keep my outfit quite casual (but of course, fashionable!) to fit in with the day's activities, as well as considering the unusually hot weather!

I wore my new pale blue, chambray button-up shirt from River Island, (see here) that has been on my wishlist for some time now. It features splits at the long-line hem, and it's quite lightweight, so it's super easy to throw on over any outfit when those summer afternoons get a little breezy.

My small brown tote is from Dorothy Perkins, which you can see here.

My sunglasses (which are my ultimate staples and I must have mentioned them a GAZILLION times now) are Marc By Marc Jacobs.

The off-white/cream jeans (that are actually jeggings but may as well be jeans) are my new favourites, also from River Island (see here). These are the Molly's, the fabric on these are amazing, they just cling to you in all the right places, but are also SO comfortable. This year I've gone up to a size 12, and although that may seem like nothing to some, or a lot to others, I haven't been as comfortable showing off my legs as of late - especially in light-coloured clothing. But for the first time these jeans have changed that outlook, after all, it's just better to embrace it.

Last but of course not least, is my buy of the month! (Yes, I know it's only the 11th of June but shh) these are silver pointed loafers from none other than Forever 21. I've been after the perfect pair for ages, and when I stumbled across these I just couldn't say no. You can see these beauties here.

*Big thanks to one of my best friends Holly for the images, check her blog out here*

Have you ever been to Portobello Road Market?
What did you think to this outfit? Would you wear any of it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo

  1. I'd love to visit Portobello road as I always go to the usual touristy places, like Covent Garden, Embankment etc. Looks really cool there! I love your trousers too, gorgeous colour. Riverisland are my go-to jeans place xx
