Khaki is the latest trend to hit the high-street, it's super easy to wear and style with pretty much anything. To me, it's one of the easiest trends to nail, and it's great for that awkward 'in-between' seasons glitch. As a transitional piece, I've worked with these casual off-duty trousers from Zara, teamed with black on top to empower the khaki colour more, and tone everything else down....
I personally love the tie-waist, it clinches you in and makes the trousers look less slouchy and have a more 'tailored fit' look to them.
I recently picked up these heeled black sandals in the Dorothy Perkins sale for just £15, the mid-heel makes them really comfortable and easy to wear, taking you from day to night without aching feet!
My plain black v-neck top is from Zara, at a bargain for around £7.99 - it's super soft which is always a bonus. The black draped long-line cardigan is from River Island, at a very modest price of £25.
I couldn't seem to find the exact match of these particular trousers, but I did find similar here and here. My silver hoop earrings are from good old Primark.
My final touch of accessories! Sunglasses, to be ready for the unpredictable dashes of sunlight that comes with British weather. Mine are Marc by Marc Jacobs.
What do you think to the recent khaki trend / this outfit?
Would you wear it?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
