This is just a quick post about somewhere pretty special - the other week I visited Scarborough, and I heard about Oliver's Mount. It is a little bit of a trek outside of the usual seaside/town centre areas that attract all the bustling tourists, but that also means it's much more quiet and serene. So, I decided to venture up to the famous (*ahem* well, to the locals) Mount above the seaside town. I do have to admit, it does have a spectacular view and some truly delicious cake at the top....
When we finally got near to the top, we went to a little cafe at the top, aptly named Oliver's Mount Cafe. Although It was a little pricey (£8 for 2 cokes and a slice of cake) as I say, the Chocolate Fudge Cake was definitely worth it.
so good.... who doesn't love warm melting chocolate fudge cake, with a side of vanilla ice cream?
I was surprised at how modern the cafe's interiors looked....
Nothing could beat that breathtaking view....
Had to of course, stop for a couple of photos!
Have you ever been to Oliver's Mount?
Or Scarborough for that matter?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
