5 WAYS TO DE-STRESS FROM UNI

Noir Ivoire travaille son inspiration : benchmark et crush d├ęco ! | www.noir-ivoire.fr |:

Hi Guys!
I know, it's been a while - and I blame stress. Final year of uni has hit me in the face like a steam train. It has been non-stop, and I've had to hit the ground running on my return to Newcastle. So, I've kinda let my blog slip a little, something that I always hate to do. However, I have decided that I'm not going to constantly pressure myself to keep up with Uni work, juggle a part time job AND push in a blog post 3/4 times a week. It would probably give me a nervous breakdown! I thought what better time to create this post, 5 ways to easily de-stress when university life is getting you down....

1.  HOME.   For me, nothing heals stress from Uni life than a weekend back home, it's a form of escapism. I especially love where I live, I can take my little Luna out in the countryside and just breathe in the fresh air. I know not everyone would be able to buy a train ticket home, so Skype or just a phone call to your mum is a great way just to vent and let it all out!

2.  EAT SOMETHING RED.   Well, not like a crayon or something, but fruit or vegetables. I find that red fruits are the best, like berries, strawberries, & loads more. I'm the worst person for healthy eating, I almost always cave when it comes to chocolate, but snacking on these will honestly make you feel so much better when it's deadline time.

3.   TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.   Exhausted after a long day of lectures and seminars and all the rest of it? Can't be bothered to wipe your makeup off, so you just crawl into bed? Don't! Seriously, take it off first, let your skin breathe. Stress + not taking care of yourself = spots. Not a friend.

4.  BEAUTY SLEEP.   This one is the easiest, but also the hardest for some people to do. Stress can lead to insomnia, and we don't want that. Watch a movie to get yourself sleepy, and get an early night. I promise you, you will wake up refreshed in the morning and ready to face the day.

5.  Friends.  They're there for a reason, whether it's your best bud from back home or your bunch of friends at Uni. They will help you keep calm and sane throughout this whole stressful time in your life, grab a coffee and go for a chat. Little things like these will make a huge difference.

What are your top tips to de-stress?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo
