So, I graduated! This was probably the proudest and surrealist moment of my life so far, and Northumbria University was honestly the best experience ever. I wasn't sure whether to post about my graduation, but I feel I owe it to my audience when I kind of disappeared off the radar the past few months. Well, the past 3 years have been a massive struggle and full of stress, and in my final year I had to let my blog slide a little to bring my work up to the highest standard it could be - and for that sacrifice I actually achieved a First Class Honours (eek!) which is absolutely unbelievable for me. So, I guess it worked out in the end! Anyway, without rambling on and getting all teary-eyed and emotional, here's a few photos from my graduation, and of course, graduation outfit!

Everything aside, how cool is my graduation cloak though? It's like the Harry Potter Gryffindor Colours! (I know, I'm a geek

My black fitted dress is from French Connection, I decided to go for something fitted and formal, as I didn't want it to flare out against the cloak and look a little odd. So, I decided to keep it simple with black, but it also had a little crochet detailing on the neckline and bodice area. I actually managed to grab it in the sale for just £35, (even more reduced now at £22 on the website!) reduced from £75, see here.  My sassy red heels are from Karen Millen, old season unfortunately! I do love them though, as the red makes the outfit pop more against the black.

Unfortunately blurred picture, but that walk across the stage in heels is definitely terrifying when you're already nervous!

and of course, the obligatory hat throw!

Have you graduated recently? How do you feel?!
What do you think to my outfit?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo
