HOW I FEEL MOTIVATED | LEARNING TO STAY POSITIVE

January can be rough for everyone. Payday seems like a massive stretch after the expensive party season and I probably should have put down the 10th pig in blanket! It's difficult to find that motivation and keep hold of positivity into the New Year. I sometimes struggle to feel motivated from time to time, it can be from lack of sleep or purely from working too hard and trying to juggle everything at once. It's so important to look after yourself, as it can not only affect your mental wellbeing but even physical appearance. Dark circles and dull skin is not a great look for me! So I decided to pull my sleeves up and do something about it. Here's how I stay motivated and try be positive, even on the roughest of days....

1. Treat Yourself.  This seems like my life motto recently! If it's those high heels you've been lusting after for the past few months or even just a cheeky chocolate bar down the corner shop. Treat yourself! We all need a little treat every now and again to pick us up.

2. Catch up with your Friends/Family. It sounds so simple, but really putting the stresses to bed and having a good chat with a close friend or family member really does the trick for me.

3. Try Exercise. Whether you decide to get off a bus stop early, use the stairs instead of the lift or even go to a gym class - every little helps. I personally feel that little bit better and more positive after I've done that trampoline class or gone swimming - it does release those all feeling good endorphins after all!

4.  Eliminate those negative thoughts and replace with positive ones. I know this might be difficult for some, but I always try think of the silver lining. When one door closes, another two will open. At the end of the day, it's you that rules your own life and it's what you make of it.

5.  Plan ahead. This personally just works for me, I like to make lists or know what I'm doing through the week. This could be planning in that swimming session, getting some blog pictures done at the weekend or making sure you've got your food shop done! Being productive helps me to stay positive as I know I've done useful with my time.

& thats it!
I hope this post has helped you in some way!
Do you try any of these pointers?
As always, let me know! :)
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo
