I'll be the first to admit, looking to the future is damn scary. There's so much expectation upon our own millennial generation these days to have the perfect job, perfect relationship and to own a house by time you're 25. It's really stressful having so much placed upon your shoulders that it makes the future appear scary and unknown. I've decided to become more positive and start embracing my future, instead of cowering away from it. I don't have to be in the 'perfect situation' but as long as I'm happy, then I truly believe things will fall into place. Here's why I'm embracing the future....
Career opportunities. I know people close to me who have left a stable job in order to find something new and gives them a bit more purpose, only to hate it and regret leaving the job they had in the first place. BUT, this gives you the opportunity to adjust and understand what you truly like and don't like, what sector you might want to work in and what you don't. Life is always lessons, never mistakes.
The past doesn't have to define your future.
It really doesn't. Ever done something you regretted? The best thing to do is to try to make it right or simply just let it go. Otherwise, It will end up eating away at you inside and stop you from going full throttle into your future.
This beautiful maxi dress is from Shein, see here.
How do you feel about the future?
Do you have any exciting plans?
As always, let me know!
Lots of love,
Hannah xoxo

I used to always panic if I didn't have everything figured out but I have just learnt that everything happens for a reason and that if it's meant to be it will happen! x

You look so beautiful on that outfit. And I also like the background.
ReplyDeleteYou look beautiful! As much as I'm looking forward to the future, it bloody scares me! There are many things that have happened in the past that I regret and still haunt me. But you learn to try to get rid of them and end up just learning to get by xxx
